- 3 ripe pears (Bosc or Bartlett), halved and cored
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup mixed berries (such as blueberries and raspberries)
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- Pinch of kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, optional
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- Extra honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the halved pears cut side up in a baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter and honey over the pears.
- Sprinkle the mixed berries and chopped walnuts around the pears.
- Crumble blue cheese on top of the pears.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until pears are tender and berries are glossy.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of honey and a pinch of pepper.
Notes
Bosc pears hold their shape well, while Bartletts become sweeter and softer. Adjust the amount of blue cheese based on its pungency.
