Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté garlic and ginger in the oil for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and black pepper, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add cooked udon noodles to the pan, tossing to combine with the beef and sauce.
  7. If using, add optional vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes until tender.
