Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Blend in the egg and maple syrup.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until just incorporated.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of maple syrup until smooth.
