- 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2–3 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 500 grams lean beef mince
- Lettuce (shredded)
- Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
- Pickle slices
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Combine the dry aromatics in a small bowl and mix the spices; set aside.
- Cut potatoes into chip-like shapes, rinse and dry them.
- Toss potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil and half of the spice mix.
- Spread potatoes on a baking tray and roast at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes until crisp.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a frying pan, add beef mince and cook until browned.
- Add remaining spice mix to the beef and continue cooking until browned and flavorful.
- For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
- Assemble the bowls with hot potato chips, shredded lettuce, beef, cheese, pickle slices, and drizzle with sauce.
Notes
Customize bowls with additional toppings like red onion and hot sauce. Keep sauce chilled until assembly for best texture.
