Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce for topping
Instructions

- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, cooked rice, sautéed onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Take a blanched cabbage leaf and place a portion of the filling toward the base. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour tomato sauce over the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes until heated through.
