  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of sugar until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust, spreading it evenly.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl with a knife.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly.
  10. Cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.
