Description

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on a baking sheet.
  5. Divide the chicken mixture evenly and spread it across the two slices of bread.
  6. Layer the sliced avocado on top of the chicken.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado.
  8. Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
  10. Let the sandwiches cool slightly before serving, then cut in half and enjoy warm.
