- 4 slices of bread
- 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix shredded chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the baking sheet.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly on the bread slices.
- Layer sliced avocado on top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, cut in half, and serve warm.
