Juicy chicken skewers marinated in lemon, garlic, and oregano, perfect for wrapping in pita with tzatziki and salad.

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until emulsified.
- Add chicken cubes and toss until every piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat until hot.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
- Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Remove skewers and let them rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with warm pita and tzatziki, squeezing extra lemon over if desired.
Notes
For an easy dinner, serve skewers with a fresh salad and warm pita bread. Tzatziki is a great complement.
