- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Remove pancakes and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar immediately.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For variations, try adding chocolate chips, fruits, or nuts to the batter. Can be made dairy-free or gluten-free by substituting ingredients.
