Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- If using, fold in chopped nuts.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until cookies are light golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
