Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Prepare the filling by combining brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Spread half of the dough onto parchment paper about ½ inch thick.
- Sprinkle the filling mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly using the parchment paper to guide you.
- Slice the rolled-up dough into rounds and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
