Instructions

  3. Cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Prepare the filling by combining brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Spread half of the dough onto parchment paper about ½ inch thick.
  8. Sprinkle the filling mixture evenly over the dough.
  9. Roll the dough tightly using the parchment paper to guide you.
  10. Slice the rolled-up dough into rounds and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
