- 2 cans Canned French-style green beans (drained)
- 6 slices Bacon (cooked until crispy)
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from skillet and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, chopped bacon, melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread into an even layer.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly and caramelized. Let rest before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, skip the bacon and add smoked paprika for flavor. Leftovers reheat well in a low oven.
