- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and sliced Cajun sausage. Cook until sausage is browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace sausage with mushrooms or plant-based sausage. Adjust seasoning for preferred spice level.
