Description

A quick and comforting creamy pasta dish with garlic and Parmesan that feels like a warm hug on a plate.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any type)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a rolling boil and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, then reserve 1/3 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant and slightly golden, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper, stirring until melted and silky.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Plate the pasta, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and flavor. Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
