Description

Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are a delightful blend of crunchy panko, tender salmon, and a creamy, tangy sauce, making them perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Pat the salmon pieces dry, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a dredging station: flour on one plate, beaten eggs in a bowl, and panko on another plate.
  4. Coat each salmon piece in flour, then in eggs, and finally press into panko until covered.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  6. Fry salmon bites in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  7. Transfer cooked bites to a wire rack over paper towels to drain.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with Bang Bang sauce and sprinkled with green onions.

Notes

For a lighter version, try air frying or oven baking. Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
