- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup apricot preserves
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, apricot preserves, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for about 4 hours.
- Once cooked, serve the chicken warm with sauce drizzled over rice or vegetables, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For thicker sauce, remove chicken and simmer the sauce uncovered for a few minutes.
