Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, apricot preserves, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for about 4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, serve the chicken warm with sauce drizzled over rice or vegetables, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For thicker sauce, remove chicken and simmer the sauce uncovered for a few minutes.
