Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot, laying flat for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 5 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Shred the chicken and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Add in the pasta, stir gently to coat in the sauce, and cook on high for 30 more minutes.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted, then serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
