- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 cups pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot, laying flat for even cooking.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 5 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken and return it to the crockpot.
- Add in the pasta, stir gently to coat in the sauce, and cook on high for 30 more minutes.
- Stir in the shredded cheese until melted, then serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
