- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef and French onion soup.
- Add breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the mixture.
- Mix all ingredients together until well combined without overmixing.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and compact it well.
- Place the formed meatloaf in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over the meatloaf to melt.
- Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
