  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef and French onion soup.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the mixture.
  3. Mix all ingredients together until well combined without overmixing.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and compact it well.
  5. Place the formed meatloaf in the crockpot.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over the meatloaf to melt.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
