Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy ranch sauce with melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in it.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet and let it melt into the dish.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth to help cook the chicken and enhance the flavors.
  4. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken breasts and stir gently to combine.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for 20-25 minutes, ensuring the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve garnished with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
