Description

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as thyme or oregano)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until it begins to bubble.
  3. Add the minced garlic and dried herbs to the skillet; sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. Serve warm, drizzled with the garlic butter sauce and let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.

Notes

For added brightness, finish with a squeeze of lemon. If the pan sauce reduces too much, add a splash of chicken broth or water.
