- 4 Boneless Chicken breasts
- Salt and Black Pepper (to taste)
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic (grated)
- 3/4 cup Chicken broth
- 2/3 cup Heavy cream
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/3 tsp Chili flakes
- 1/3 cup Parmesan (grated)
- 1/4 cup Basil (fresh, chopped)
- 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add chicken breasts.
- Cook the chicken for 8-10 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add oil from sun-dried tomatoes and sauté grated garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, dried thyme, dried oregano, Parmesan cheese, and chili flakes. Mix well.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
For added nutrition, you can mix in spinach or mushrooms. This dish pairs well with sides like mashed potatoes or asparagus.
