- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them skin-side down to the skillet, cooking until golden brown (5–7 minutes on each side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Stir in Dijon and whole grain mustard, blending with onions and garlic. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, and stir to mix well. Let sauce thicken slightly.
- Return chicken thighs to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until chicken is tender.
- Serve hot with sauce draped over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
