  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them skin-side down to the skillet, cooking until golden brown (5–7 minutes on each side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in Dijon and whole grain mustard, blending with onions and garlic. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, and stir to mix well. Let sauce thicken slightly.
  5. Return chicken thighs to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until chicken is tender.
  6. Serve hot with sauce draped over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
