- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually combine with the butter mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- For the frosting, mix mini marshmallows and powdered sugar in a bowl.
- Once brownies are finished, sprinkle the marshmallow mixture on top and return to the oven for 5 minutes until puffed.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For extra flavor variations, add nuts, mint extract, or fruit toppings as desired.
