- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- 1/4 cup garlic butter
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into pieces until nicely browned.
- Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 1 minute to bloom the spices.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into rectangles.
- Spoon a small mound of beef into the center of each rectangle and top with shredded cheese.
- Roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges and placing seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with garlic butter.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Assemble the rollups ahead of time and refrigerate, then bake fresh. Serve with ketchup or mustard for dipping.
