Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into pieces until nicely browned.
  3. Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 1 minute to bloom the spices.
  4. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into rectangles.
  5. Spoon a small mound of beef into the center of each rectangle and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges and placing seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with garlic butter.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Assemble the rollups ahead of time and refrigerate, then bake fresh. Serve with ketchup or mustard for dipping.
