Delightful mousse domes combining the festive flavors of gingerbread and coffee, topped with a rich chocolate glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Chocolate glaze or shell for topping
Instructions
- Sprinkle gelatin over water in a bowl and let sit for about five minutes to bloom.
- Combine cooled brewed coffee and sugar in a saucepan, stirring over medium heat until dissolved. Remove from heat and add bloomed gelatin, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until combined.
- Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold coffee mixture into whipped cream until fluffy.
- Spoon mousse into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Once set, unmold and drizzle with chocolate glaze before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill mixing bowl and beaters beforehand. You can use silicone muffin cups if dome molds are unavailable.
