- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
- Fresh dill (optional, for tzatziki)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and arrange on the baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Meanwhile, prepare tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, grated cucumber, minced garlic, and dill in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve meatballs warm with tzatziki.
