Description

A tropical delight featuring grilled shrimp marinated in jerk seasoning and paired with caramelized pineapple, bell peppers, and red onions on skewers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning
  • 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wood or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with jerk seasoning and olive oil until evenly coated.
  2. Thread shrimp, pineapple, bell pepper, and red onion onto skewers, alternating pieces for color.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Season with salt and pepper as needed and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinate the shrimp for 15-30 minutes for best flavor. Use wooden skewers soaked in water to prevent burning. Customize with different fruits or proteins as desired.
