- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup asparagus, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
- Stir in chopped asparagus and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in orzo pasta and chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; mix well and let meld on heat for a few more minutes. Serve hot.
