- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups rice (for serving)
- 1 tablespoon oil (for cooking)
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper. Place in the skillet presentation-side down and cook for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the chicken thighs and brown the other side for another 5 minutes.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until fully cooked (165°F).
- Remove cover, spoon sauce over the thighs, and let rest before serving over warm rice.
