Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Press the grated parmesan cheese onto each breast until it adheres.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
  4. Pour the lemon juice and zest over the cooked chicken, tilting the pan to spoon the sauce over the breasts. Allow the sauce to thicken for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer chicken to plates, spooning the pan sauce over each piece, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
