Description

A creamy, tomato-flecked sauce spooned over tender chicken, offering a comforting and indulgent dish that’s easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and then add the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce, and let it cook for another minute.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for better melting and flavor. Pat chicken dry before seasoning for even browning. Optional variations include adding spinach tortellini or using half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
