Description

Easy and indulgent Mint Oreo Truffles that blend rich chocolate with creamy filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted (for coating)
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or chocolate drizzle for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos using a food processor or a rolling pin in a sealed bag until fine crumbs.
  2. In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle with extra chocolate before the coating sets.
  8. Chill again until the chocolate hardens.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For ideal consistency, ensure cream cheese is softened at room temperature. Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
