- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in elbow macaroni, beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8-10 minutes until macaroni is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Can be customized with additional veggies or spices. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
