Description

A comforting, quick, and easy one-pot meal that combines creamy cheese, tender beef, and macaroni for a delicious family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in elbow macaroni, beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8-10 minutes until macaroni is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Can be customized with additional veggies or spices. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
