- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups cooked pasta (like penne or shells)
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced onions, bell pepper, and mushrooms until tender.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess grease.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, simmer for a few minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle provolone and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
