- 4 Chicken breasts
- 1 cup Pretzel crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Mustard
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place pretzel crumbs in a shallow dish.
- In another dish, beat the egg until frothy.
- In a third dish, add flour.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour.
- Dip the flour-coated chicken into the beaten egg.
- Roll the chicken in the pretzel crumbs.
- Place the coated chicken on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Melt cheddar cheese with mustard in a saucepan until smooth.
- Serve the chicken with the mustard-cheddar sauce drizzled on top.
