Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt; mix until well combined.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk and melted butter until lukewarm, then add to the dry ingredients along with the egg.
  3. Stir until a dough begins to form, then knead gently for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with cinnamon, and scatter raspberries.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice for the glaze, and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
