Instructions

  1. Warm your skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil until it shimmers.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, stirring frequently until the onions turn translucent and soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Push the onion and garlic to the side and add the ground beef, breaking it apart and letting it brown for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage until coated in oil and beef juices.
  5. Sprinkle in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing thoroughly.
  6. Cook until the cabbage softens and begins to caramelize at the edges, about 10-15 minutes.
