Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the beef broth, brown gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, and sliced onion.
  2. Add the frozen meatballs to the mixture, making sure they are coated with the gravy.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve the meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes.
  6. After about one hour, open the lid and give the sauce a gentle stir as the gravy thickens.
  7. Halfway through cooking, nudge a meatball to check tenderness and ensure they are soaking up the gravy.
  8. When finished, taste and adjust salt and pepper, and thicken with cornstarch slurry if necessary.
