Description

A bold twist on classic deviled eggs, infused with spicy chili garlic sauce and topped with fresh green onions.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a medium pot and cover with water. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 10 minutes.
  3. Crack and peel the eggs under running water.
  4. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks into a mixing bowl.
  5. Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayo, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stir in chopped green onions.
  7. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture and sprinkle with paprika.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For a twist, add a splash of lemon juice or smoked paprika. Make ahead for enhanced flavor.
