Strawberry Dole Whip | Refreshing & Creamy Tropical Treat

Strawberry Dole Whip

  • Author: Emily Hodges
  • Total Time: 5
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (or regular milk, if preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional, depending on your sweetness preference)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Step 1: Begin by adding the frozen strawberries into a blender. The frozen fruit is key for achieving that thick, creamy texture you love about Dole Whip.
  2. Step 2: Pour in the pineapple juice and coconut milk. If you’re using regular milk, you’ll still get a rich, creamy consistency, but coconut milk will give it an extra tropical touch.
  3. Step 3: Add a tablespoon of honey or sugar to sweeten the mixture, depending on how sweet you like your Dole Whip. Feel free to adjust this to your taste!
  4. Step 4: Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. You might need to pause and scrape the sides of the blender a couple of times to ensure everything gets fully blended.
  5. Step 5: Once smooth, scoop the Dole Whip into bowls or cones. You can also pipe it into a swirl shape if you want to get fancy.

Notes

  • Frozen Fruit: Using frozen strawberries is essential to achieving that signature Dole Whip texture. Fresh strawberries will work, but the consistency will be more like a smoothie than the frozen treat we’re after.
  • Texture: If your Dole Whip is too thick, you can add a little more pineapple juice or milk to help blend it better. If it’s too thin, add a few more frozen strawberries to thicken it up.
