Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup cranberries, dried
  • 2 tablespoons sage, dried
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the diced celery and onions. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, sautéed vegetables, cranberries, and sage. Gradually add vegetable broth while stirring until the bread is moistened but not soggy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls with slightly damp hands or a cookie scoop, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crisp on the outside. Serve warm.
