  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  4. Slice the garlic bread in half lengthwise.
  5. Spread the cooked taco mixture evenly over the cut side of the garlic bread.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the top.
  7. Add the diced tomatoes and black olives.
  8. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Once out of the oven, top with sour cream and fresh chopped cilantro.
