Description

Deliciously warm and gooey choc chip cookies, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers look soft.
  9. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking to enhance flavor and prevent spreading.
