  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Start by boiling salted water in a large pot. Add the bowtie pasta and cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Season the bite-sized chicken pieces with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brown the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Sauté the Garlic: Reduce the heat to medium, then melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for approximately 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer while stirring occasionally.
  6. Incorporate Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese to the sauce, stirring until it’s completely smooth.
  7. Add the Cheeses: Incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella into the sauce, stirring until it thickens and becomes glossy.
  8. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet, ensuring every piece is well coated in the sauce.
  9. Finish with Chicken: Return the golden chicken pieces to the skillet and fold everything together gently.
  10. Serve and Garnish: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
