- 1 1/2 pounds chicken
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded Havarti cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine until just tender, typically about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, around 7-10 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a plate.
- Lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet, cooking briefly until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth, stirring gently to lift any flavorful bits from the pan.
- Add the heavy cream and cream cheese to the skillet, whisking until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the Havarti, Parmesan, and mozzarella, mixing until the sauce thickens and becomes luscious.
- Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and half of the chopped parsley, mixing to combine.
- Return the cooked chicken to the sauce, stirring well to coat the meat.
- Gently add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until every strand is enveloped in the creamy goodness.
- Allow the dish to sit over low heat for a few minutes so the flavors meld together. Finish with the remaining parsley before serving warm.
