Description

A delightful blend of crispy chicken and creamy cheese pasta, this recipe brings comfort and elegance to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and set it aside.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts with Caesar dressing. Let them sit for about 10–15 minutes to soak in that flavor.
  3. Mix the panko breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Press the coated chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Drizzle the chicken lightly with olive oil, then bake for 25–30 minutes, or until it’s golden, crispy, and fully cooked through. Let the chicken rest before slicing it into thick strips.
  6. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  7. Melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  8. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring gently. Allow it to simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Add the softened cream cheese, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  10. Mix in the remaining Parmesan cheese and mozzarella, stirring until the sauce becomes thick, creamy, and glossy.
  11. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing until each piece is fully coated.
  12. Plate the pasta, then top it with the crispy baked Caesar chicken. Finish with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate in Caesar dressing for added flavor. Check the chicken’s internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F for safe consumption.
