  • Author: admin

  • Yield: 2 servings 1x
  • Diet: None

Description

A comforting one-skillet meal featuring tender steaks and golden, crispy potatoes, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 steaks (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and cook until golden brown and tender, about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the seasoned steaks in the empty space. Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium rare.
  5. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, basting the steaks with the garlic-butter mixture.
  6. Remove from heat once the steaks reach your desired doneness. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

For a variation, consider adding vegetables such as bell peppers or substituting with sweet potatoes for a different flavor profile.
