Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold all the chicken breasts in a single layer.
Step 2:
In a small mixing bowl, combine the Caesar dressing, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
Step 3:
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper, ensuring the flavors get locked into the meat.
Step 4:
Pour the Caesar-Parmesan sauce evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure each piece is well coated.
Step 5:
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). The sauce should be bubbly and slightly golden on top.
Step 6:
Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove the dish from the oven. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to settle.
Step 7:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving to add a touch of color and freshness.
Notes
- To prevent dry chicken, keep an eye on the baking time. Overcooked chicken can turn tough, so use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- For a crispier finish, you can broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end of the cooking time. Just watch closely to avoid burning the sauce.
